This awesome little charger the size of a credit card (slightly thicker) and it fits into a wallet's card slot. It has attachments for both iPhones and Android phones. I bought them for myself, for travel, and for both of my kids so they always have an emergency/back up power source in case their phone dies when they are out and about and need to make a call, get an Uber, etc. It doesn't provide a super fast charge, and it may not charge a battery back to 100%, but it is a perfectly sized, reusable, emergency charger.
If you have international travel on your future agenda, this has been a great, versatile power adapter for me. Not only can you use it in 150+ countries, it has USB and Type-C outlets as well as a standard electrical outlet.
When exploring a big city, the last thing you want to think about (but need to think about!) is pickpockets. This RFID unisex belt/waist bag is SO low profile and lightweight that you will barely know you are wearing it under your shirt (and pickpockets won't know either!). The material is RFID blocking, which means thieves can't scan your credit cards, IDs, or passport, to steal information from you.
It isn't easy managing prescription medications and first aid medications, such as Advil and Tums, for a three-week trip. This awesome, portable carry case features multiple compartments with lids that snap securely shut.
I searched high and low to find a compact magnifying mirror that lit up on BOTH sides of the compact. One mirror is 1x and the other provides 10x magnification. The LED light can be switched to warm, natural, and white light. No batteries are needed as it's rechargeable using the included USB cable.
When you combine hot weather with hot flashes (TMI?), this lightweight, cordless neck fan provides welcome relief. It has three speeds and is rechargeable using the included USB cable. It also comes in pink and white.
I bought this bag for my trip to Spain since I heard there is a big problem with pickpockets there. Not only did all the safety and security features give me peace of mind, but this crossbody bag was the perfect size. I could carry my daily necessities and still had room for small purchases and a water bottle. I'm just sorry I didn't know about this bag sooner!
When it is hot and humid, this genius towel allows you to beat the heat. Quickly soak the towel in cold water (you can just run it under a sink faucet), wring it out, and place it around your neck. The cooling effects last quite awhile and, when the towel does dry, you can simply soak it in cold water again. It is machine washable.
If you are taking a long trip, it can be a challenge to launder your clothes along the way. These little packs of Tide liquid detergent are made just for hand washing clothing in a sink (or tub). Easy peasy.
I can't live without my Popsocket. It makes taking selfies a breeze and also allows me to hold on to my phone more securely if I'm holding it while walking. I don't love the Popsockets with adhesive, however, because then I can't take advantage of the mag-safe features of my iPhone. The removable, sliding phone grip is the perfect solution!
After waking up one morning of a trip to find that my battery charger hadn't recharged overnight, I now bring two of these with me on every trip so I can always have one with me while the other is recharging. These are relatively lightweight and small, plus they can recharge your phone multiple times.
Why don't these phone charging cables ever last?!? At least this three pack is inexpensive. I also like how short they are (8 inches) so I don't have to wrestle with a long cord while recharging my phone.
I have had severe motion sickness since I was a kid and it hasn't gotten better with age. When I went on a recent Transatlantic cruise, I brought lots of these ginger chews with me. There were only a couple of days at sea that were a bit rocky and these really saved me. And they taste pretty good too!
I have suffered from severe motion sickness my entire life. As an avid reader, my not being able to read while on a car ride has been a huge bummer. Recently, I wore these goofy, lightweight goggles during a drive and was, for the first time ever, able to read while on the road! I also wore them during a couple of rough days at sea during a recent cruise and they made all the difference. It's all about keeping that horizon line steady.
These sturdy, large clips are perfect for keeping your towel attached to your chaise lounge chair on a breezy beach or sea day, or for affixing drying laundry to outdoor furniture or a clothesline. I have gotten a lot of use out of these inexpensive clamps.
